Many people are keen on buying only products that are made in the USA. When buying an eye cream or a wrinkle cream, you need to have this same attitude and thought process. There are many pitfalls that come with buying an anti aging wrinkle cream that was made somewhere outside the USA. This article examines those pitfalls.
Why buy a product that was made overseas? It simply adds up to a lot of risks you may not want to expose your skin to. This article includes first world countries as well, such as Canada. Just recently a lot of light was shed on Canada as the popular weight loss diet pill, called Hydroxycut, was recalled. Products such as this one and many others are not subject to FDA inspection when they come into the country. For this reason, it’s important that you know where the products you buy are made.
Companies that manufacture in the USA are subject to strict health codes by the State’s Health Boad as well as the FDA. If they fail any inspections, this is noted on public record and sanctions are imposed.
Here are some questions that come to mind when I think of an overseas manufacturer:
Who is operating the machinery?
Are they trained in this at the University level?
Do they get visits from ANY governing body?
How do we know child labor isn’t being used?
Keep in mind that if one tiny smidgeon of bacteria goes into any formula, it can lose all of it’s powerful effects and be completely ruined. Sanitation is a big concern when any health product is made, and it’s no different in wrinkle creams, eye creams, and any other topical cream that requires mixing, formulating, and attention at all levels.
A plant that manufactures in the USA has a trained staff that is subject to continued training in these areas:
*product safety
*proper use of machinery/technology
*sanitation & expectations
*proper servicing of machinery and care for product ingredients kept in the facility
Not only is the training continued, but it’s enforced. Keep those things in mind next time you are buying an eye cream.
