Lifting Eye Creams vs. Eye Creams

Many people pose questions on web forums such as “what is the difference between a lifting eye cream and a regular eye cream?” It’s a valid question and is worth attacking in today’s question and answer portion of the blog.

Lifting eye serums have several traits, such as:

*Lift and firm the skin under the eyes

*Tighten the skin under the eyes

*Firm the skin and make it appear thicker

While these traits are all fantastic, lifting eye creams aren’t always the best answer for people who want a long-term effect from eye creams. Lifting eye creams are more like makeup than anything. While they will create an illusion of healed and lifted skin, it’s more of a short term effect than anything. Lifting eye creams don’t always give off the best value for the customer who is looking for a long-term eye cream. They certainly do have value, but they are more suited for these situations:

*A quick tighten in the morning to look fresh, faster.

*A fix-up for the Saturday night dinner party when you haven’t seen the gang for a while and you want to impress.

Keep that in mind when you shop for a lifting eye cream.

A “regular” eye cream has long-term an therapeutic value. Most eye creams make claims such as:

*Reduce dark circles under the eyees

*Reduce appearance of eye wrinkles

*Provide moisture to the under-eye area

*Reduce appearance of sunspots and other skin impediments.

When applied daily, eye creams can have a long term effect on the under-eye area and provide an enhanced, younger look to the person applying it. Eye creams have been an important component in anti aging routines for years, and just recently more and more younger people have been adding them to their skin care regimen. People age 30 or older are advised to use eye creams in order to reduce the signs of aging. When used with an anti aging wrinkle cream, eye creams can help be part of a complete rejuvenation system of the face.

Now that you know the effects of lifting eye creams and eye creams, you can make a decision as to which route you want to go with your skin care routine. When used in tandem, the eye area will reap the benefits of both short term and long term eye creams.

Elite Serum is Winning Awards

The Elite Serum, a product we hold in high esteem her after several trials and tests, is winning awards left and right. It’s been named the top eye serum at authority website EyeSerum.com.

It has essentially the same ingredient list as Elite Cream, which we chose as our eye cream of the year 2009. Elite Cream has been discussed in many different media outlets for it’s success in removing dark circles under the eyes, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and even helping tighten the skin under the eyes.

Elite Serum, it’s sister eye serum, won this award just recently. It was pitted against several other eye serums or products advertising under the realm of eye serums. Elite has been getting several good eye cream reviews and compliments for it’s USA-manufacturing facility with a perfect track record, it’s superior customer service, and results-driven formula.

If you haven’t had a chance to take a look at Elite Serum, head on over there and take a look.

Where Was Your Anti Aging Cream Made?

Many people are keen on buying only products that are made in the USA. When buying an eye cream or a wrinkle cream, you need to have this same attitude and thought process. There are many pitfalls that come with buying an anti aging wrinkle cream that was made somewhere outside the USA. This article examines those pitfalls.

Why buy a product that was made overseas? It simply adds up to a lot of risks you may not want to expose your skin to. This article includes first world countries as well, such as Canada. Just recently a lot of light was shed on Canada as the popular weight loss diet pill, called Hydroxycut, was recalled. Products such as this one and many others are not subject to FDA inspection when they come into the country. For this reason, it’s important that you know where the products you buy are made.

Companies that manufacture in the USA are subject to strict health codes by the State’s Health Boad as well as the FDA. If they fail any inspections, this is noted on public record and sanctions are imposed.

Here are some questions that come to mind when I think of an overseas manufacturer:

Who is operating the machinery?

Are they trained in this at the University level?

Do they get visits from ANY governing body?

How do we know child labor isn’t being used?

Keep in mind that if one tiny smidgeon of bacteria goes into any formula, it can lose all of it’s powerful effects and be completely ruined. Sanitation is a big concern when any health product is made, and it’s no different in wrinkle creams, eye creams, and any other topical cream that requires mixing, formulating, and attention at all levels.

A plant that manufactures in the USA has a trained staff that is subject to continued training in these areas:

*product safety

*proper use of machinery/technology

*sanitation & expectations

*proper servicing of machinery and care for product ingredients kept in the facility

Not only is the training continued, but it’s enforced. Keep those things in mind next time you are buying an eye cream.
